Set Up: Partial Backup using Backup Wizard in cPanel

In addition to full website backups, cPanel also allows you to backup smaller individual portions of your website. For example, if you only want to backup your web files, you can perform a partial backup of the Home Directory.

Types of Partial Backups

There are three types of partial backups you can perform:

Home Directory – this partial backup includes all the files and data within your home directory, including the public_html folder.

MySQL Databases – this partial backup includes all MySQL databases associated with your account.

Email Forwarders & Filters – this partial backup includes the configuration for all email forwarders and account-level email filters created for your domain name. This backup does not include any user-level filters.
