Subject to the Doteasy Referral Rewards Program Terms and Conditions (the "Referral Rewards Agreement") below, when you ("Referrer Client") refer a new customer ("Referred User" or "Friend") to Doteasy and such customer makes an eligible hosting or domain purchase, you will receive a reward which can be converted to in-store credit.
Doteasy Referral Rewards Program Terms and Conditions
1. General
These Terms and Conditions (the "Referral Rewards Agreement") govern the Referral Rewards Program that is made available by Doteasy Technology Inc. ("Doteasy", "we" or "us"). These Terms and Conditions represent the whole agreement and understanding between Doteasy and the individual or entity who participates in the Referral Rewards Program (the "Referrer Client" or "you").
Please read this agreement carefully, as it represents a legally binding agreement between you and Doteasy. By your participation in the Referral Rewards Program, you agree to comply with all of the terms and conditions set out in this Referral Rewards Agreement. Doteasy may terminate your Referral Rewards Account at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that is in breach of the Referral Rewards Agreement, for conduct that Doteasy believes is harmful to its business, or for conduct where the use of the Referral Rewards Program is harmful to any other party.
2. Referral Links
Doteasy will provide the Referrer Client with specific Referral Links to link marketing content to Doteasy. Doteasy will track and store the visits of the Referral Links in the browser session. In order for Doteasy to track that a sign-up was made through your Referral Link, Referred Users must complete a purchase in the same browser session to be considered as eligible towards the Referral Rewards Program.
You are not authorized to modify or alter the Referral Links in any way. Doteasy is not responsible for any tracking or reporting errors that may result from any modifications to the Referral Link.
3. Referral Reward System
A Referral Reward will become eligible to redeem for in-store credit approximately 45 days after a qualifying referred sign-up. To count as a qualifying sign-up, the referred user must be a new Doteasy member who makes their first domain or hosting purchase through the Referral Link. A referred sign-up does not qualify if the purchase is unsuccessful (e.g. a refund is made after the purchase).
Failure to meet any of these criteria will permanently void the referral and disqualify the referral from any potential reward payouts.
Your Referral Reward will be based on the first product in your friend’s shopping cart. For domain referrals, you will receive $1 in-store credit for each year of the initial sign-up term. For hosting referrals, your Referral Reward will be calculated as indicated on the Doteasy Rewards Tier. Details as follows:

Spending is calculated per account. Reward is calculated in USD, except for .ca domain purchases. Reward for .ca domain purchases will be converted from $1 CAD to USD based on our exchange rate.
Once a successful, qualifying sign-up is made through your Referral Link, you will see a reward amount in the Member Zone. Before the reward appears in your Member Zone and is redeemable for in-store credit, it will take approximately 45 days after the referred sign-up to determine if it is considered as successful. You can redeem the Referral Reward when the balance appears in your Member Zone. There is no minimum balance needed to redeem your reward for in-store credit.
By redeeming your reward, your reward amount will be converted into in-store credit, which can be used for domain or hosting renewals, plan upgrades or add-ons. In-store credit will be automatically applied towards future eligible Doteasy purchases in your account. In-store credit cannot be used towards new domain or new account sign-ups. Any unused in-store credit will be forfeited after 12 calendar months.
In the event of any activity deemed suspicious by Doteasy, Doteasy may delay the payment of Referral Rewards by up to 6 calendar months to verify the relevant transactions. Doteasy reserves the right to recalculate, void, or disqualify any referrals or Referral Rewards in the event of any fraudulent, deceptive or otherwise illegal activity.
4. Qualifying Referrer Clients
To participate in the Referral Rewards Program as a qualifying Referrer Client, you must be an active Doteasy member. The Referrer Client must not be an employee of Doteasy.
5. Advertisements
Doteasy hereby grants the Referrer Client a non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to use the Doteasy logos for the sole purpose of promoting our service within the context of the Referral Rewards Program. This license will expire upon termination of the Referrer Client's participation in the Referral Rewards Program.
The Referrer Client may only display advertisements that contain Doteasy's logos or service marks in good taste. The Referrer Client may not use Doteasy's logos or service marks in a manner that, in Doteasy's sole discretion, portrays Doteasy in negative light.
The Referrer Client will be solely responsible for its own marketing activities. All marketing activities must be professional and in full compliance with all applicable laws.
Doteasy may, without prior notice, require the Referrer Client to remove or modify any advertisements in Doteasy's sole discretion.
6. Termination
Doteasy reserves the right to terminate the Referrer Client's participation in the Referral Rewards Program at any time for conduct that is in material breach of this Referral Rewards Agreement or for conduct that Doteasy, in its sole discretion, deems to be harmful to its business or any third party.
Upon termination, the Referrer Client will lose access to their Referral Link and will forfeit all potential or unclaimed Referral Reward Credit.
7. Relationship of Parties
Nothing in this Referral Rewards Agreement will create any partnership, employment, representative, agency, or joint venture relationship between the parties. The Referrer Client has no authority to act on Doteasy's behalf.
8. Limitation of Liability
The Referral Rewards Program is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Participation in the Referral Rewards Program is at the Referrer Client's own risk. Doteasy makes no representations or warranties, either expressed or implied, with respect to the Referral Rewards Program, or any service or information provided through the Referral Rewards Program.
Doteasy is not responsible for any damages, injury or economic loss arising from the use of Referral Rewards Program. Should any part of the Referral Rewards Program cause damage or inconvenience to the Referrer Client or anyone claiming through the Referrer Client, the Referrer Client assumes responsibility and the entire cost for them.
The Referrer Client will indemnify and hold harmless Doteasy, its directors, officers, employees, agents, subsidiaries, and third parties from and against any losses, damages, liabilities, claims, judgments, settlements, fines, costs and expenses (including reasonable related expenses, legal fees, costs of investigation) arising out of or relating to the Referrer Client's or any third party's operations or use of the Referral Rewards Program.
9. Updates to the Agreement
Doteasy may, in its sole discretion, change or modify this Referral Rewards Agreement at any time, with or without notice. Such changes shall be made effective for all Referrer Clients upon posting of the modified Referral Rewards Agreement to this web address: https://www.doteasy.com/rewards/terms-and-conditions.cfm. The Referrer Client is responsible for reading this document from time to time to ensure that its use of the Referral Rewards Program remains in compliance with this Referral Rewards Agreement.
The Referrer Client's continued participation in the Referral Rewards Program will constitute binding acceptance of such modifications.
10. Miscellaneous
The Referrer Client warrants and represents that it is over the age of 19 and is qualified to enter into this Referral Rewards Agreement.
The Referrer Client warrants and represents that its actions and its participation in the Referral Rewards Program is in compliance with all applicable laws, rules, regulations, and any requirements of governmental authority at all times. Doteasy reserves the right to terminate the Referrer Client's participation in the Referral Rewards Program if Doteasy determines, in its sole discretion, that the Referrer Client's actions or its participation in the Referral Rewards Program is in violation of any laws, rules, regulations, or any requirements of governmental authority.
This Referral Rewards Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between Doteasy and the Referrer Client. This Referral Rewards Agreement supersedes any other contracts or understandings between the parties hereto and neither party shall be bound by any statements or representations that are not embodied in this Agreement.
Any dispute arising in relation to this Referral Rewards Agreement shall be exclusively resolved in the Courts of the Province of British Columbia, Canada.
