SSL allows you to secure pages on your website so that information such as logins, credit card numbers, etc. are sent encrypted instead of plain text. It is important to secure your website’s login areas, shopping areas, and other pages where sensitive information is submitted on your website. The cPanel SSL/TLS Manager lets you manage all parts of using SSL on your website, including generating, installing and managing SSL certificates, certificate signing requests, and private keys.
