Set Up: FTP Connections in cPanel
The FTP Connections interface in cPanel displays information about current connections to your FTP server and allows you to manage those connections.
The FTP Connections feature is important as it lets you:
- View general information about your FTP users
- Stop any unwanted FTP activity on your website
- Drop idle FTP connections caused when an FTP client opens multiple connections, without closing the previous ones, or due to an incorrect setting
