BlaB!: version Lite 2.2
BlaB! Lite 2.2 (formerly SimpleChat!) is a chat system written in PHP and JavaScript. The output produced by BlaB! Lite 2.2 is small, clean, XHTML1.1 and CSS2 compliant and looks fine with any modern browser.

The script can be downloaded from here.
The file that you will download is saved in .zip format; this is a compressed bundle containing the files in the distribution. Unzip this archive in a temporary directory on your computer using decompression software.
Start your FTP software and upload the directory to your web server preserving the file structure.
Note: If you want BlaB! Lite 2.2 to handle the homepage of your site, upload the contents to your website root (/var/www/html/). Otherwise, it's best to upload the files to a subdirectory of your web server. You can use the /chat subdirectory name, but you can also choose another.
Let's assume you install the contents of the BlaB! Lite 2.2 folder to /var/www/html/chat
URL: http://www.mywebsite.com/chat
CHMOD the subdirectory /data to 777
To change file permissions using your FTP client, select the file by clicking on it once on the remote system side and then right-click on the file to bring up the option menu and select CHMOD.
In a browser, go to the URL http://www.mywebsite.com/chat/admin.php. You will access to the admin panel to setup your ADMIN password:
Congratulations, the installation of BlaB! Lite 2.2 is now complete. You can check your BlaB! Lite 2.2 at http://www.mywebsite.com/chat.
