If your ISP does not provide SMTP server service for your use, you may use the Doteasy mail server for SMTP. You will have to specify your Netscape Mail software to authenticate in order for the SMTP server to accept your outgoing email.
After you
have configured your email account in Netscape Mail, select Mail & Newsgroups
Account Settings from the Edit menu.

Select
the Outgoing Server (SMTP) option and ensure that the Server Name is defined
as mail.yourdomain.com. (Replace yourdomain.com with your
domain name)

Ensure
that Use name and password is checked.

Ensure
that the User Name is entered in the format userID%yourdomain.com. (Replace
yourdomain.com with your domain name)

Congratulations! You have successfully configured your POP email software to use the Doteasy email server as your SMTP server.
